- shopping on etsy... love, love, love!!
- surprise date nights with the hubby (he's been surprising me a lot lately)
- working on the house and making it our home
- Christmas Shopping
- the fact that Tomorrow @ 5pm I'll be on my way to wonderful Park City to spend the
weekend with 2 of the most amazing girls I know..CAN.NOT.WAIT!

Anticipation

Only 34 days left until I'm in New Moon Bliss!! I'm so excited I can't even stand it... Oh and I just pre-ordered the movie tickets for me and my girlies... Ya that's right I ALREADY HAVE 'EM!! (Do you have yours??) I know I jumped the gun a little but what can I say... There ain't no messin' around when it comes to TWILIGHT and I ain't about to be takin' any chances... So here's a little eye candy for your friday entertainment... ENJOY :)

Us in Mile High City

So I'm a little late at blogging... What can I say?? I suck at it! Anyways... I managed to steal my husband away for a weekend (which doesn't happen very often lately) but I had to bribe him with a Dallas game of course ;)... So off to Denver we went!

Bowling @ Lucky Strike Lanes... Justin won.. Of course!! And Sam lost...
we teased him about it all weekend! You'll get 'em next time! ha..ha...

On Saturday we met up with one of my besties Maurie and her husband Jordan. We all went out to Dave and Busters.. It's like an arcade for adults ;) we had a lot of fun playing games and eating yummy food ;)

Then Sunday was GAME TIME!!! I have to give Denver it's props on the stadium cause it was insane. And their fans are outta control. It was a riot and we really had a good time other than Dallas lost. BOO Broncos!!! And this is is the second Dallas game we've been to and this is the 2nd loss we've witnessed LIVE(both away from home). So we decided next time we go... we're going to see them play on their own turf!! (Texas 2010?? Maybe ;)!!)

Fallin' for Fall

My 75 year old Grandpa played a round of golf with all the Grandkids and needless to say he kicked all of our asses!!
We went camping!

And I went home with a big fat grin on my face because I have BONCOS bragging rights and $60 more in my pocket!

Goodbye for Now!

Hey Guys! Man it's been awhile... sorry!! :) Life has been a lil busy lately. Anyways, so I have debated and debated over doing this post because I didn't know if I wanted to expose my weakness to all of you like this, but then I thought the more people who know I am trying... might make me want to try a little harder so here goes.. I am giving up sugar. Yep! You read that right.. I'm over it! Why you ask?? Because I have an addiction to the stuff that is gettin' a little out of control and I just decided that me and sugar are going to part ways for a while.. 30 days to be exact! One month, starting TODAY! I just want to see if I can do it and see how my body will react to it. I think I am more curious than anything else and hey it wouldn't hurt to drop a few lbs. either :). Justin thinks I am crazy because I am such a sweet tooth.. he thinks if I go without it I might go insane or something and HEY... he might be right because me without sugar is kinda like Justin without a derby car.. just not LOGICAL! lol :) But.. I want to prove him wrong and challenge myself. So, wish me luck!! For the next 30 days..

10 things you probably didn't know about Me!

Here are the rules:List 10 honest things about yourself--and make it interesting--even if you have to dig deep. Then pass this tag onto 7 other bloggers. And yes Cath.. this was hard!

1- I am addicted to Bubblegum. But here is the weird thing.. I only chew it for about 2 minutes until the flavor is gone and then I spit it out and pop in another piece.. I think I could chew 40 pieces a day if I let myself. :)

2-I cheated on every boyfriend I ever had.. except for Justin. Horrible and mean I know. But, I guess that's how I knew Justin was the one.

3-I love going shopping by MYSELF. Weird, I'll admit!! But then you don't have to deal with going into stores you don't want to, worrying about finding the same thing as your friend and then trying to figure out who gets to buy it etc; I'd rather just not deal with the headache.

4-I am a very opinionated and out-spoken person. I HATE people that are fake to your face and are not themselves. Just be who YOU are and live YOUR life. That's all :)

5-I secretly wish I was a BROADWAY star. I sing around the house, in the shower, in the car... you name it. And no.. It's not TOP 40 that I'm belting out.. It's showtunes baby. Justin thinks I am crazy.

6- I never pictured myself ending up in Sanpete, marrying a COUNTRY boy at the age of 20 who is obsessed with DERBY cars and his idea of dressing up is a T-shirt and his Dallas hat! But... I am SOOOOO happy that I did.

7-I am kind of with Lindsay on this one.. I am addicted to sweets! Justin tells me he doesn't know how one person can consume so much sugar... Some days I don't even think anything remotely nutritious makes it into my mouth.. Im too busy stuffing it with chocolate, licorice, Ice cream.. you name it.. I've usually had it within the last 24 hours.

8- I had a small trace of cervical cancer, went to the doctor a million times, got rid of it, been fine ever since!! :)

9- Somedays I wish my adorable 4 year old niece was mine.. and other days I'm glad she's not.

10- Last but not least... the reason I don't blog very much is because this post took me about 45 minutes and there wasn't even any pictures involved! I'm so slow at this and I guess a little lazy!!

Let's Play Catch Up!!!

So I know that I have been horrible and haven't blogged FOREVER! I guess all I can say is that my life is not that exciting... Justin and I have just been really busy with work and haven't had time for much else. However, we have managed to have somewhat of a social life during the last little while and here's what our busy selves have been up to!

Well first of all... I cut my hair! It is soooo short!! But what can I say, I am my moms guinea pig and it was time for a change! :)

Last weekend my family and some friends went sleigh riding up to the power plant. It was a lot of fun. The snow wasn't as packed as it usually is because well... there hasn't been any snow! But we had a good time anyways, just hanging out, enjoying the snow, and bbq hotdogs! YUM!!

Yes, that is my 75 year old Grandpa on a sleigh! I about died.. hee.he :) I couldn't believe he actually did it.

The Night of the Roll-offs! This month Boncos was at Todd and Cathy's house. She was a great hostess and we had a great time as always. We had yummy taco soup, birthday/wedding cake that was to die for, and lots of laughs.. :) Thanks Todd and Cathy! I cannot wait until next time..

Jazz Game

So as one of Justin's Christmas presents I bought him some JAZZ tickets, with the one condition that he had to take me with him of course :) So we headed up to the game on tuesday night to watch the JAZZ take on the San Antonio Spurs. It was close the entire game, but the SPURS ended up takin' home the braggin' rights.. I was bummed, but what I was really hopin for was to see Eva Longoria (her main man plays for the Spurs) sorrry to say I had no such luck. But man what a game!!

Happy Birthday Mom! I just want to say how much I love and appreciate you! You are an amazing woman and mother and even a better friend! My turn for Boncos!

So this month it was my turn to host Boncos and it was a blast! We had such a great time and I know that we all look forward to the night out once a month. We had dinner, rolled our hearts out, and even played a little Guitar Hero: World Tour. I know it was just what I needed and couldn't have asked for anything better. Oh and Greg should seriously think about a singer career :) lol.. I don't think I ever laughed so hard.. Maybe him and Jake could do a duet. Now that would be a party!

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! Tod had last bonco, Amy had most losses, Mandi got most wins after an intense roll off with Cathy, and Justin won most Boncos! Now thats my babe :)

Happy Birthday Brei and Happy New Year!!

So I'm sure a lot of you know that I have the cutest niece in the world! And no I am not byast.. ;) Anyways, her name is BreiLynn and the lil' cutie turned 4 on the 28th. I just wanted to say Happy Birthday Brei.. I love you lots and your little soul has made such a difference in my life and you have brought so much joy to our family!

Happy New Year! So for New Years , we went to Jake and Jami's to play Boncos with our couples club. It was a lot of fun! I walked away with the most wins and $30 more dollars in my pocket. :) Jami made dinner, we played poker, danced, and lit fireworks. It couldn't have been better! Thanks Jami.. It was awesome. Can't wait til next time..

Girl's Lunch

My good friend from school, Maurie was in town from Colorado for the weekend. So Maurie, Jill and I went to lunch to catch up on each other's lives and have a few laughs. It was so good to see her. Her Birthday is tomorrow on Dec. 30th and I just want to say Happy 22 Maur.. I can't believe it! i LOVE you like a sister and you will always be one of my best friends. Good friends are hard to come by and when you find one, you better not let them go! How 'bout you guys? Do you have any good friends that you can't live without? Without my friends in my life, some days I don't know how I'd get to the next! So here's to all the good friends out there, because a life lived for others, is a life worth living :) Happy New Year Everyone..

Merry Christmas

Well I hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas! I know I did. Justin spoiled me way too much and we got more from out families than we'll ever need. I just want to say that I appreciate everything and everyone in our lives. I guess that's what Christmas is truly about.. being grateful for friends and family! It has been a while since I blogged, December has just been crazy, I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. So once again, hope you all had a WoNdErFuL ChRiStMaS and have a good and safe new year! xoxo

So here's what I've been up to...

Hey Guys.. So it's been a while since I last blogged, I'm so sorry I've been slackin'! Well anyways, here is what I have been up to for the last couple weeks..

T.W.I.L.I.G.H.T.

So last Friday on the 21st, a few of my good friends and I went to the Twilight premiere in Provo. We had such a blast! Luckily we pre-ordered our tickets, because the lines were CRAZY and some fans were outta control! All I can say, is that if I was Bella... I would ask Edward to bite me too! Here are some pics.. And there goes the Ceiling...

So, We have had an electrical problem in our bathroom and laundry room for the last month and a half. Yes, I have been showering in the dark with a flashlight.. what a task! ;) So anyways, Justin's dad was up last weekend and he wanted to help us find the problem. So Dave sent Justin crawling into our attic to chase some wires.. I had a bad feeling about this from the start.. so about 5 minutes later, there was a big crash. So I came running into the front room and to my surprise.. Justin had fell through the ceiling. I couldn't help but laugh, Me and Dave both were trying our hardest not to fall on the floor rolling. Hopefully you get as big of a kick out of it as I did..

Insulation was Everywhere... And so was the sheet rock!
The hole was about 4 ft. Justin was lucky he didn't get hurt by hitting the fireplace or the tile.

THANKSGIVING

For Thanksgiving, We first went to Justin's moms and then to my moms after. The food was delicious at both places. We were very thankful for the meal. It was nice to see everyone and catch up on the happenings of everybodys lives. My cousin was up from California, so it was nice to see him. We hung out all night watching football and playing games. It was a blast. Friday morning, My mom, Aunt Lorie, Mandi and I all woke up @ 2am to hit the killer deals at Wal-Mart. We got some great stuff. Then Saturday, the whole fam went trap shooting out to Uncle Don's farm and had a BBQ. Later that night, all the girls went to the LIGHTS ON celebration in Mt. It was Awesome! They had a band, lit fireworks, and had tons of games for the kids. It was a busy weekend, but we enjoyed every minute of it! :)
